BAA Training announces receiving the second of the two additional full flight simulators acquired in 2018. Airbus A320 FFS has already been assembled and is ready for training at BAA Training headquarters in Vilnius. With the current addition, the aviation training academy doubles its type rating training capabilities as it operates 4 full flight simulators in total. Together with the building and new equipment, BAA Training has invested up to 23 M Euros into type rating training in 2018.

BAA Training has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment Company (HNCA) announcing the start of cooperation for Henan-based Joint Venture aviation training company in People’s Republic of China (PRC). BAA Training and HNCA enter a mutual agreement to contribute to the aviation community preparing the highest quality aviation professionals. According to the plans, Henan-based pilot training centre should be opened in the fourth quarter of 2019 starting with the first Boeing family full flight simulator, then adding 5 more full flight simulators later.

FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair & overhaul services, has announced further expansion to Asia region by opening a new warehouse in Singapore. The operations started at the beginning of November 2018.

Baltic Ground Services (BGS) an international provider of ground handling, aircraft fueling and railway freight transport has announced its business expansion. BGS subsidiary company in Ukraine – BGS Rail, engaged in railway cargo services, in cooperation with counterparts from its global sister company AviaAM Leasing, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with governmental company from China – Henan Civil Aviation Development & Investment Co. Ltd. (HNCA). With this strategic agreement, companies will establish a Joint Venture and invest together in acquisition of 10 000 brand-new railcars built in Ukraine.
