BAA Training expanded its training capabilities by adding a brand new Boeing 737 Next Generation full flight simulator to its headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania. The brand new training device is already ready for training. It complements the type rating training equipment at BAA Training headquarters, where Boeing 737 Classic and Airbus 320 full flight simulators are already operating. The market price of this new full flight simulator varies from 9.5 to 10.5 million euros.
Baltic Ground Services (BGS), an international provider of ground handling, passenger service, and aircraft fuelling has announced the establishment of a new company in Ukraine. Through the establishment of the new company, BGS Rail has opened the door to cooperations with other logistics companies in this region. BGS Rail leases, short-term and long-term, general-purpose open open-top wagons with hatches for the transportation of coal, ore, rubble, rolled metal products, wood, etc. The company has already invested approximately 7 M EUR (8 M USD) in the new company. At the moment, the company owns a fleet of 362 open-top wagons with hatches.
FL Technics, a global provider of integrated aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, has announced that its subsidiary company FL Technics Indonesia has received an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) certification from the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam. This approval opens the door for the company, based in Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, to start maintaining aircraft registered in Vietnam. Upon receiving the CAAV certificate, FL Technics Indonesia is now able to provide maintenance services for Boeing B737 and Airbus A320 family aircraft coming from various Vietnamese airlines.
FL Technics signed a cooperation agreement with an independent global engineering enterprise Field International Ltd. Under the terms of this agreement, FL Technics will act as an exclusive representative of Field International Ltd across Scandinavia, Russia, CIS, Mongolia.
